ACE CONFIRM
When you receive high ACE results, such as in screening, you can use the option to confirm a person's ACE score.
Confirm is a short test that reflects the difficulty level of the questions the individual successfully answered in the original test (with the same type of questions). To initiate this, go to the relevant assessment in MPP, click on the three dots on the far right, and select Start ACE Confirmation. You will receive a link and a code, which the candidate will use to access their specific confirmation test. The link can be entered into a browser on another internet-connected computer. Ideally, the test taker should complete the ACE Confirmation test on-site.
The individual has a maximum of 15 minutes to answer questions at the difficulty level they achieved in the original test. If they successfully replicate their previous performance by answering the questions correctly, the test will end immediately (this can happen as quickly as 4-5 minutes). If it is more challenging, it may take a bit longer. The individual will not see the result themselves; instead, you will see it by going to Analysis after selecting the person in the assessment. You can also view the result in the Interview Guide.
There are three levels of results:
- Confirmed result
- New test recommended
- Unconfirmed result
A confirmed result means the individual has successfully matched their original performance. A new test recommended indicates that the person did not quite achieve their previous score. An unconfirmed result means the individual's performance was significantly lower than their original score. Consider the implications of each result and how you will communicate this to the candidate.
